The Indiana Hoosiers continue to have success recruiting the Peach State as they added Carrollton, Georgia defensive back LaDamion Hunt to the 2017 recruiting class. Hunt, a 6’0”/183 pound prospect, was rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports. He chose the Hoosiers over offers from Louisville, Kentucky, Minnesota and West Virginia. His commitment brings the class to nine prospects and he brings the class to a projected ranking of 68th nationally.

Hunt is a corner with great length and good speed. His tape shows footwork that will need to be worked on but he has above average physical tools and, with some development, he has the potential to be a very good defensive back in Tom Allen’s defense. Interestingly, Indiana’s class now features seven defensive prospects so the staff is clearly loading up to help mold the roster into Allen’s vision.
